Our Story
From the Groves
to the Emirates
How a reverence for the coconut palm became a pursuit of perfection

The Beginning
A Belief Worth Pursuing
Mubadira was born from a simple observation: that the most extraordinary skincare ingredients have existed for centuries, yet the modern luxury industry often overlooks them in favour of synthetic novelty. The coconut palm, revered across tropical civilisations for millennia, offered something no laboratory could replicate — a naturally complex oil with unparalleled affinity for human skin.
The founders spent two years travelling between the estates of Southeast Asia and the research facilities of Europe, studying cold-pressed extraction methods and seeking the rarest cultivars. They were not in a rush. They believed that if the sourcing was meticulous and the formulation was disciplined, the results would speak for themselves.
What emerged was not a brand built on marketing claims, but one built on material truth. Every bottle of Mubadira traces back to a single origin, a single harvest, and a philosophy that luxury should never need to exaggerate.

Single Origin
From Estate to Formulation
Our coconut oil is sourced exclusively from certified estates in the Philippines and Sri Lanka, where heritage groves produce some of the most nutrient-dense coconuts in the world. We work directly with farming cooperatives, ensuring fair wages, sustainable harvesting, and full traceability from tree to jar.
The oil is cold-pressed within hours of harvest to preserve its natural lauric acid, vitamin E, and polyphenol content. No heat, no chemical solvents, no refining. This is the foundation upon which every Mubadira formulation is built — an oil so pure it could be used on its own, yet elevated further by our botanical blending process.
Each shipment is third-party tested for purity and potency before it reaches our formulation studio. We reject any batch that does not meet our internal benchmarks, even when it exceeds industry standards. This is what single-origin commitment looks like in practice.

Less, But Better
Every Ingredient Earns Its Place
The modern skincare industry relies on long ingredient lists to suggest efficacy. Mubadira takes the opposite approach. Our formulations contain between six and twelve ingredients — each one selected for a specific purpose, sourced at the highest grade, and tested for synergy with every other component in the blend.
We do not use fillers, synthetic fragrances, or trend-driven additives. When we include saffron, it is Iranian saffron at its peak potency. When we include 24K gold, it is pharmaceutical-grade gold leaf, not decorative dust. When we include oud, it is sustainably harvested agarwood oil, aged for depth and complexity.
This restraint is not a limitation. It is the foundation of our approach: that true luxury lies not in abundance, but in the precision of what is chosen and the integrity of how it is prepared.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Purity
Every ingredient is traceable to its origin. We use cold-pressed, unrefined coconut oil sourced from certified single-origin estates, ensuring the highest concentration of natural actives in every formulation.
Craftsmanship
Small-batch production ensures that every jar, tube, and balm receives individual attention. Our formulations are blended in controlled environments, tested for consistency, and released only when they meet our internal benchmarks.
Sustainability
Refillable packaging across the entire collection. Direct partnerships with farming cooperatives that guarantee fair wages and sustainable harvesting. A commitment to minimising waste at every stage of production.
We did not set out to build a skincare brand. We set out to honour an ingredient that had given so much to so many, and to present it in a way the world had never seen. Mubadira is the result of that conviction — that the coconut palm deserves a place alongside the finest materials in luxury.
